Purchasing & Administration Assistant
40 hours per week
Salary £15,500 to £18,000 per annum
Based at Blackpool head office
Reporting to the Purchasing Manager
RP Tyson Construction Limited is a forward thinking company working with a diverse range of Clients helping them to deliver their building, construction and facility requirements. We are active right across the North West with a project base of affordable housing, commercial developments, education, healthcare, specialist housing, ecclesiastical and new build residential developments.
We currently have an opportunity available for a Purchasing and Administration Assistant to join us to work alongside our Purchasing Manager. You will be responsible for placing purchase orders for the construction sites and other internal departments. You will provide support to the Purchasing Manager on all projects assisting with stock control and record keeping.
You will need to demonstrate the following skills:
• Enthusiasm to learn and develop
• Comfortable with computers using email and basic spread sheets
• Confident phone manner
• Attention to detail
• Able to prioritise workload
• Ability to work as part of a team
You will receive training in the following areas: negotiating, supplier relationships, purchasing software, quality control, best purchasing practice.
