Our commitment to sustainability

At Tyson we are committed to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR); we aim to understand how our business impacts on the wider community within which we work and aim to go beyond the minimum requirements in taking a responsible attitude. We believe that CSR is the continuing obligation of our business to behave ethically and to contribute to the economy whilst improving the quality of life of the local community, our workforce and indeed the social and economic well being of the wider UK community.

We understand the impact of our activities on people, communities and the environment within which we work. We work in a wide variety of environments; hospitals, specialist housing, homes, schools, Churches, commercial / retail developments and offices and in all of our activities we are committed to protecting the environment, supporting the local economy, providing employment and training whilst building a legacy for future generations and in doing so making the “Tyson Experience” a positive one for all those people we come into contact with.

We strive to ensure that the work we undertake on our projects leaves all stakeholders appreciative of our performance.

We take an informal approach to raising monies for Charity, though through our on-going construction work with Brian House and Trinity Hospice we focus our fund raising activities on this great organisation to help them raise the necessary funds to be able to provide the on-going palliative care and support they provide to their Clients young and old. In addition to this the team regularly raise money for local and national charities; NW Air Ambulance and Life Boat RNLI.
