David Whittle
David is the Chairman of the Company.
Jeremy Whittle
In January 2016 Jeremy took up the position of Managing Director to drive the Company’s strategic direction. Jeremy is a Chartered Surveyor and ensures that all the constituent components of the Company pull in the right direction whilst keeping a very close control of the Company’s Finances. Jeremy’s summers are taken up playing cricket at the weekend.
Emma Turnbull
Emma is a Chartered Accountant and joined the family business in 2021 after gaining over 15 years of experience working in an accountancy practice. Emma is responsible for all areas of the Company’s accounts and works alongside Jeremy to keep control over the Company’s finances
Nick Bell
Nick joined the Company as an Apprentice Joiner. He is an important motivator within the Company, whilst he is involved in the full range of projects, he specifically enjoys projects where there is a significant Civil Engineering component. He also looks after the Company’s labour resources.
Daniel Causer
Daniel has been with us for 20 years. He is a Director of the Company and oversees the Company's Project Management and Surveying Department.
Philip Helm
Philip's role is to identify deliverable, viable projects – working with our existing Client base or out finding new opportunities and forming new relationships. Philip has specific interest in Affordable Housing, specialist housing (supported / healthcare), PRS and housing for open market sale.
Andy Brumwell
Andy joined the Company as a joiner, he has specific interests in the refurbishment of buildings – Schools, Ecclesiastical and specialist refurbishments. Andy heads up the Company’s post completion services as well as looking after the Company’s van fleet.
Scott Eastwood
Scott joined the Company as a bricklayer, he has specific interests in new build housing and is a real driver of schemes to ensure that they are delivered on time and to budget.
Jordan Whelan
Jordan is a Contracts Manager - focusing on new build housing developments. Jordan joined the Company in 2003 as an Apprentice Bench Joiner. He loves his Super Bikes.
Mark Turnbull
Mark uses his groundworks and engineering expertise to ensure the early stages of our projects run as efficiently as possible, overseeing site strips, setting out and using co-ordinate based equipment.
Matthew Horrocks
Matt started his journey with us in 2015 as an Apprentice Joiner and worked his way up to Assistant Site Manager in 2020, successfully Site Managing his first project that same year. In 2021, he earned his Passivhaus Tradesperson Certification. He was recently promotion to Contracts Manager.
Matt Greenwood
Matt provides a planning resource to the Project Teams, detailing the most efficient critical path for each build sequence, from tender to preconstruction, through the construction phase and onto practical completion.
Dezz Reynolds
Dezz is responsible for all Health and Safety issues on and off site, he is responsible for ensuring all staff and sub contractors are appropriately trained and qualified and is responsible for the Company’s Quality Systems.
Stuart McCall
Stuart joined Tyson Construction in 2020 and has over 17 years of industry experience. Stuart undertakes project management and estimating duties within the business.
Steve Hartley
Steve is a Chartered Surveyor. He predominantly acts as Project Manager on many of our Affordable Housing developments. It is also rumoured that there are several framed pictures of Steve at Lancaster Football Club in recognition of the honours he achieved with that Club.
Michael Berrie
Michael has a Joinery background and graduated from UClan in 2018. He looks after a range of newbuild housing projects between £2-10 million. He is also a musician and producer in his free time.
Chris Hayward
Chris has a bricklaying trade background and graduated from UClan in 2021. He managed the Big Cats enclosure at Blackpool Zoo and has experience in Passivhuas certified projects.
Oliver Goulden
Oliver recently joined the company from a background of working with spec housing Contractors.
Will Turnbull
Having started in the procurement team, Will is now progressing along his path of education, assisted by Tyson, to become a qualified Quantity Surveyor.
Peter Reynolds
Pete's core responsibilities are as the main negotiator / buyer of products and components, managing the joinery workshop. He does enjoy golf when he is not at work.
Lesley Bibby-Smith
Lesley has been an integral part of the team for over 22 years and ensures our H&S files are compliant with CDM 2015 Regs. She also assists our QuEnSH Manager with staff training and company accreditation.
Cathy Helm
Cathy is most probably the person you interact with when you come to visit us or call the office. She keeps the office running smoothly, being involved with various aspects of office administration whilst supporting accounts and estimating.
Jane Tyson
Jane is an integral part of the Finance and Administration team, she looks after the payroll, pensions ensuring that the correct stock and costs are attributed to the right construction projects.
